This platform is a response to the desire of the Nigeria Police Force to enhance the strategic efforts of the police in the prevention of, response to and prosecution of sexual and gender-based violence cases in Nigeria. The training designed to assist and guide police personnel at different levels. It covers training in the following areas: key concepts on SGBV, handling of SGBV cases, steps in responding to SGBV cases, investigation, and prosecution of SGBV, communication techniques for successful handling of SGBV cases, and data collection and management.
How much does it cost to register and learn?
All Courses/Modules on this platform are FREE. But as you may already known, the Platform dedicated to a special segment of the Nigerian Police Force on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.
What do I need to get started?

As front-line officers in proximity to the people, the police are often called upon to intervene when an act of violence is either in progress or shortly after it has occurred, and the attitude and response of the police can have a dramatic impact on ensuing developments, including the prevention of future violent acts and the protection of survivors.
